I’ll say it - William Shatner defined and owns the spoken-word genre.  He’s been doing it for 35 years, there’s no one better.

His new album Seeking Major Tom was just released and it’s on Spotify.  From the opening with Major Tom to Rocket Man, an oldy but a goody, to She Blinded Me With Science, Bill gives and keeps on giving.  Playing along are Lyle Lovett and Sheryl Crow.

Bohemian Rhapsody is my favorite track.
